The Ružomberok – Malinô Brdo  resort, subtitled Ski & Bike, can be found in lower Liptov, at the foothills of the Veľká Fatra mountain range. It is a popular resting place not only for local visitor but also foreign tourists. The entrance gate of the resort is the town part Hrabovo, just 1 km from the resort.

To get from Hrabovo to Malinô Brdo use a comfortable up-to-date 1770 m long 8-seater cabin cableway that transports 1500 people per hour. Right in the resort´s center there is a 4-seater chairlift, 2 ski lifts and 4 ski lifts for beginners and children. Interesting events and competitions for all family are organized during weekends and holidays for all visitors.

The resort offers 12 km of pistes, the longest of which measures 3900 m, surpasses the height difference of 698 m and is one of the longest pistes with artificial snow in Slovakia. Surroundings of Malinô Brdo offer excellent opportunities for cross-country skiing, hiking and alpine skiing. The attractive places worth seeing include the wooden village of Vlkolínec, a walk around Sidorovo and alpine ski or cross-country passage to Smerkovica.
