How to reach us by train
The region Liptov is comfortably reachable by train. Railways of the Slovak Republic forms the main rail link from west to east. Liptovský Mikuláš and Ružomberok towns are the main traffic junction with regular rail link from Bratislava and Košice, and international links from Prague. From Liptovský Mikuláš and Ružomberok you can get to individual tourist resorts by bus.

Warsaw – Žilina
From 14.12.2014 a new direct rail link runs between Warsaw and Žilina through Katowice, Bohumín and Čadca – the best and the fastest connection from Warsaw to the north of Slovakia. A very good train connection or bus connection is from Žilina to the region Liptov – to the town of Liptovský Mikuláš or Ružomberok.
The train journey from Warsaw to Žilina takes approx. 6 hours.

Krakow – Liptov
From Friday, 15 May, 2015, TigerExpress mini buses run twice a day on a new route Krakow – Dolný Kubín – Ružomberok – Liptovský Mikuláš – Poprad – Prešov – Košice. You can reserve your tickets online through www.tigerexpress.eu. Ticket prices from 10 EUR.
Warsaw – Liptov
From Friday, 18 December, 2015, bus line was launched by Polish transporter PKS POLONUS on the route Warsaw – Krakow – Zakopane – Tatranská Lomnica – Starý Smokovec – Liptovský Mikuláš – Tatralandia water park in Liptovský Mikuláš.
